Floating Knuckle
- This special bracket keeps the pressure points in line by removing the side load stress on the cylinder shaft to prevent bending and distortion, thereby extending the life of your plow.
Self-Leveling Plate
- When the plow is raised, angled or straight, the leveling plate engages to keep the blade in a horizontal position to improve ground clearance. This feature ensures the corner of the blade doesn’t catch obstacles and cause damage.
Superior Finish
- For extreme durability against the elements and rust, FirstTrax combines an industrial powder-coated paint finish on the blade, with a hot dipped galvanized hardware components, to keep your plow looking new for years.
Mounting Bracket
- Install the bolt-on hidden vehicle mounting brackets and cross member. Attach the main power feed to the battery
Mounting the Plow
- With your plow on the mounting/storage cart, roll the plow to the front of your vehicle. Align the plow with the cross member receivers on the mount and puch the plow forward.
Receiver
- Push the plow bar into the "c" style receiver piece on the cross member
Securing Your Plow
- Insert ring snap pins on both the left and right side of the cross member bar to secure your plow to the lower vehicle mount
Pins
- Slide a pin through the drill hole in the upper mounting bracket, through the black box bracket on the plow and out the other side.
Cotter Pin
- Insert a cotter pin at both ends of the pin to secure the plow to the upper mount.
Blue Main Power Cable
- Attach the blue main power feed cable to the control box.
Wired Remote Control
- Attach the the wired remote control by flipping up the receptacle cap on the control box
